Why this camp

Not a craft table with a keyboard

Learning by
recreating hits

This is how we teach. In this speed lesson we rebuilt “Illegal” by PinkPantheress from scratch to show students how a Grammy-nominated song is actually put together, layer by layer, from the Underworld sample to the minimal drum pattern and airy synths.

Camp works the same way. Instead of abstract theory, students pull apart songs they already love and rebuild the techniques behind them, then use those same techniques on a track of their own.

  • Song structure, pulled apart
  • Sampling & sound design
  • Mix decisions that carry

Nothing to buy and nothing to bring but a packed lunch. Students who want to keep going at home leave with their project files and, on the DJ camp, a USB.

Millions of professional samples

Through our partnership with Splice, camp students get Splice Education access — the industry’s leading platform for samples, loops and production tutorials. It is the same library professional producers pull from, and it keeps working long after camp finishes.

They go home
with the music

Every DJ Headliners student leaves with a USB loaded with over 100 tracks, formatted and analysed so it drops straight into Rekordbox. It is the single thing that stops a camp from ending on the last day: they can keep practising the transitions they learned that week on the same songs they learned them with.

  • 100+ tracks, ready to mix
  • Analysed and beat-gridded
  • Theirs to keep
